About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect deliveries for accuracy and visible damage, report discrepancies or damage. Label, stage, and store materials in designated locations. Shipping Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to shipping instructions. Generate and attach shipping labels and documentation as directed. Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment as trained. Inventory & Documentation Perform basic inventory transactions and data entry in ERP or inventory systems. Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives. Maintain organized and clean storage areas following 5S standards. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and equipment operation guidelines. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as trained and authorized. Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory systems. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Prior warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred but not required. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variation. Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime as required.
