About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Operations Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join Oracle's Interactive Media Group. In this high-impact role, you will drive execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring priorities are delivered on time in a fast-paced environment. You will leverage deep Oracle expertise to orchestrate releases, manage risks, and foster seamless collaboration between engineering, product, design, and customer teams spanning Europe and the US. The ideal candidate thrives in agile environments, excels at proactive issue resolution, and has a proven track record of scaling programs through strong organization and communication. This is a “hands-on” role that will require an individual capable of not only facilitating and driving initiatives, but also personally ensuring their completion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Operations and/or Project Management, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, release engineering, and enterprise-scale deployments at a global tech company.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including tenancy administration, governance, and technologies like Oracle Database, OCI Cache, and Managed Kubernetes.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle Release Management (ORM), leading major releases, and handling production support/escalations.
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively with other teams to ensure proper alignment against respective roadmaps.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including capacity planning, forecasting, and tools like spreadsheets for metrics (e.g., CASE, Puffin).
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management across distributed, multi-time zone teams (US/Europe); ability to raise issues early and drive consensus.
  • Technical depth in relevant technology spaces such as Linux administration, scripting (Bash/Perl), CI/CD, containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Helm), and troubleshooting complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program execution for media-focused technologies, prioritizing deliverables and driving cross-team alignment to make priorities happen.
  • Manage Oracle Release Management (ORM) processes, including milestone planning, change management, release coordination, documentation, metrics tracking, and compliance readiness for general availability launches.
  • Create and maintain capacity spreadsheets, forecasting models, and resource analytics to optimize team bandwidth and predict delivery timelines.
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and issues early; develop clear pathways and mitigation strategies, escalating as needed while partnering with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Serve as a communication hub: Deliver status updates, facilitate cross-timezone meetings and collaborate with product management, security teams
  • Manage enterprise customers onboarding, configuration, and support.
  • Champion security and compliance, while balancing pragmatism and project schedules.
  • Drives vulnerability remediation, policy governance, and production troubleshooting across OCI tenancies, compute, databases, and infrastructure.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
