Operations Team Analyst
About The Position
The Operations Team Analyst will ensure transparent, timely, and accurate execution reporting for the customer across appropriations. This role involves leading daily and monthly analytics products, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, to inform senior decisions on Status of Funds, Training Resource Model impacts, and account execution. The analyst will produce and maintain daily financial reports and forecasts, develop Training Resource Model (TRM) reports with enterprise-wide analysis, and deliver TRM training to the customer workforce. Key responsibilities also include preparing daily BI execution reports for customers, tracking commitments, obligations, and fund transfers, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate analytics into actionable recommendations for senior leader decision-making.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in defense financial management or operations analytics
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint for analytics and reporting
- Experience with BI platforms such as GFEBS BI
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with USARC or HQDA-level reporting
- Experience with Training Resource Model methodology
- Knowledge of appropriations and execution
- Possession of excellent analytical skills
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure transparent, timely, and accurate execution reporting for the customer across appropriations
- Take lead on daily and monthly analytics products, including Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, which inform senior decisions on Status of Funds, Training Resource Model impacts, and account execution
- Produce and maintain daily financial reports and forecasts in Excel and Power BI for oversight of specific appropriations
- Develop Training Resource Model (TRM) reports with analysis across the Army enterprise
- Deliver TRM training to customer workforce
- Prepare daily BI execution reports for customers, including tracking commitments, obligations, and fund transfers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytics into actionable recommendations and develop monthly analysis and execution reports that support senior leader decision-making
