About The Position

General Dynamics Electric Boat, the nation's premier designer and builder of nuclear submarines, is seeking an Operations Surveillance Analyst to take part in building the most complex product in the world. The successful candidate will support specific Quonset Point (QP) Operations product lines (Manufacturing, Steel Processing, Outfitting, etc.). Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in Quality, Operations, Project Management or Engineering
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able and available to work extended hours, as business needs dictate
  • Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to demonstrate previous experience in performing at a high quality level
  • Self-motivator with a strong awareness of procedural compliance and data integrity
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extensive experience with Excel, modeling data, maintaining databases and pivot tables
  • Experience performing in-process surveillances
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives
  • Understanding of how Quonset Point Operations departments schedule their work

Responsibilities
