About The Position

The Operations Support Specialist plays a key role in handling day-to-day administrative and operational tasks that help keep our office running smoothly. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys steady, detail-oriented work, values accuracy, and appreciates being part of a small, supportive team. You will handle a variety of routine tasks such as data entry, document review, scanning and filing, processing basic financial transactions, and supporting general office functions. Because our team cross-trains and covers for one another, you’ll learn several areas of the operations process and assist where needed. This is a stable, consistent role where your reliability and attention to detail directly support the team’s success.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a business-related field such as finance, insurance, or banking.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn internal systems.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine desire to help others and create positive, lasting client experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with premium finance or agency operations.
  • Experience with CRM tools or Access-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Entering and updating financial and account information with accuracy.
  • Reviewing documents for completeness and correctness.
  • Processing routine payments and related transactions.
  • Scanning, organizing, and maintaining electronic and physical records.
  • Assisting with printing, mailing projects, supply management, and other general office duties.
  • Helping with returned mail, basic reporting, and additional tasks as assigned.
  • Answering incoming calls and providing friendly, professional support to customers.
  • Serving as a reliable backup for teammates across multiple operational areas.
