Summary of Primary Functions : Performs a wide variety of administrative duties necessary to provide support to sales operations functions and activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The Operation Support Specialist supports the Sales and Estimating teams by identifying and managing early-stage opportunities, coordinating client outreach, maintaining CRM data integrity, and assisting with estimating and modeling tasks. This role is critical to improving team efficiency, increasing market visibility, and driving new project conversions in strategic markets.

Requirements

  • Education: High School plus Vocation or Technical Education: 1-year certificate from business/technical school or some college work is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales support, estimating, or project coordination in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry experience in construction, estimating, or sales support is plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems and 3D modeling software (SketchUp/Revit) is a plus.
  • Experience in pre-cast production or construction fields preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and track new opportunities in targeted markets (K–12, university housing, industrial, and infrastructure).
  • Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting.
  • Coordinate and schedule client briefings, presentations, and follow-up meetings for prospective clients and design teams.
  • Manage all sales documentation, including proposals, SOVs, contracts, and client correspondence. Job status report, project resume.
  • Oversees and gathers project qual info.
  • Assist estimating team with takeoffs, preliminary budgets, and conceptual models (SketchUp/Revit) as needed.
  • Develop and distribute internal reports summarizing pipeline activity, market trends, and lead metrics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to prepare sales collateral and project profiles tailored to targeted opportunities.
  • Support the execution of executive briefings and educational outreach to promote Tindall’s precast capabilities.
