About The Position

Support critical defense manufacturing operations by coordinating sales orders,logistics, and compliance documentation across the Aegis product line. Ideal for candidates with 2–4 years in operations, order management, or logistics who are detail-oriented, comfortable in ERP systems (JD Edwards a plus), and experienced working in regulated environments (ITAR/EAR, defense, or aerospace). Nice To Haves

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations support, order management, logistics, or administrative coordination within a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain certifications for Cybersecurity Awareness and PKI access
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
  • Strong understanding of shipping logistics and basic compliance documentation (domestic and international).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experienced in microwave tube manufacturing, RF power components, or defense electronics.
  • Understanding of export compliance regulations (ITAR/EAR) and defense contract handling.
  • Familiarity with CAV systems, GFE inventory, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Prior experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or defense contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Order Support
  • Serve as a key liaison for new and existing aegis sales orders in JD Edwards.
  • Providing a detailed review and timely updates to all Aegis sales orders.
  • Prepare and deliver contract close-out notifications, maintain detailed support documentation.
  • Administrative Support
  • Prepare and manage accurate administrative documentation of Aegis product line including writing and submission Failure Analysis Reports (FARs), Scrap Tube, and Warranty Reports.
  • Induct, ship, and manage entries of Aegis tubes in the CAV system in compliance with government property procedures.
  • Manage receipt of rebuild microwave power tubes into the Aegis manufacturing/ERP system.
  • Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate with government carriers for timely and compliant deliveries. To include incoming rework units and out going GFE for disposal at government facilities.
  • Schedule, track, and manage Aegis shipments, ensuring proper retention and storage of end-of-day paperwork and delivery resolution.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Create and maintain new tube folders and update tube records in Aegis Manufacturing software.
  • Stamp, and/or review of stamped Aegis tubes per compliance and manufacturing requirements.
  • Support Aegis tube testing using specialized test set equipment to include capacitance testing, and visual inspection.
  • Plan, manage and report annual CAV and GFE (Government Furnished Equipment) inventory audits.
  • Support preparation of accurate documentation for Export on Demand and End-User Statements in compliance with ITAR/EAR.
