About The Position

The Operations Support Rep is responsible for processing and handling time sensitive documents and patient requests. Attention to detail is crucial and above average data entry skills are key to this role’s success.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Access to vehicle for travel to & from Post Office (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • As a condition of employment, a pre-employment background check will be conducted
  • At this time, we are unable to consider candidates residing in the state of New York for this position

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative background
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, & Commercial Insurance
  • Familiarity with the Collection Industry, HIPPA, & FDCPA
  • Experience with Epic EMR system
  • Experience with Finvi - FACS or other Revenue Cycle Management software
  • Experience with PDF creation software

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve mail from Post Office (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Coordinate, validate, deliver consumer specific requests; includes analyzing consumer mail or itemized billings for accuracy
  • Process internal correspondence and account updates
  • Inspect bankruptcy notifications, itemized statements, and settle offers
  • Analyze accounts to resolve balance discrepancies
  • Posting payments and adjustments
