The New York State Education Department's (NYSED) Office of Performance Improvement and Management Services is seeking candidates for an Operations Support Manager 2 position in the Facilities and Business Services Office. The incumbent of this position will report to the Director of Facilities and Business Services. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist the Director in coordinating all functions of the office, including management of facilities and capital construction project administration; Support and provide oversight of the Departments health and safety initiatives, facilities operations, lease and space planning, fleet management, security services, office services and print plant operations; Review, research and recommend administrative rules, policies and procedures as they relate to office activities and internal controls; Ensure compliance with regional, state, and industry guidelines and regulations; Conduct management analyses of operating procedures to increase productivity and efficiency and main standards of performance; Supervise and review assignments of staff, as appropriate; and Perform additional duties as required
