About The Position
communicate with corporate transportation and closing loads in DP. gathering shipping & receiving paperwork on a daily basis and preparing data for entry into the SAP system analyzing receiving & shipping data to determine if information is either missing or reported incorrectly performing system functions using files and screens within SAP to process receiving & shipping information communicating with receiving & shipping associates on a daily basis to ensure information is processed accurately monitoring the SAP error log for inventory movements performing necessary transactions within SAP and WMS to correct errors and ensure timely processing accepting additional responsibilities as determined by Assistant Controller checking in with truck drivers printing stickers for incoming loads for receiving associate must be at least 18 years old
Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- must be efficient with Excel, Word, Access and Outlook software applications
- must be able to work early morning, late evening and weekend hours on a daily basis
- must be detailed oriented and have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- must demonstrate strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- must be able to perform mathematical operations and/or use a 10-key calculator
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
- must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
- must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
- must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
- must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- must be able to communicate effectively
- must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and must show a commitment to Publix and our mission
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Publix Manufacturing or in a cost accounting environment
- Knowledge of specialized Publix systems including SAP
