About The Position

As an Operations Support - Energy team member, you will play a key role in supporting plant operations, assisting energy service teams, and providing outstanding customer service to our patrons. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and operational challenges.
  • Ability to travel independently within the service territory; occasional overnight stays may be required.
  • Demonstrated abilities in communication, customer focus, collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL with Hazmat endorsement (training provided by Wabash Valley).
  • Willingness to complete all required training for safety and job-specific tasks.
  • Ability to work hours other than those considered normal to meet seasonal demands.
  • Continuously exposed or required to: Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) Noisy conditions Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures May be required to work at varying heights Confined spaces Lift 51-70 lbs. Required to push heavy objects

Responsibilities

  • Assists with daily plant operations including facility upkeep and service to patrons.
  • Support administrative functions such as billing, monthly inventory, and required reporting.
  • Assist the Petroleum and LP teams with marketing activities as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patrons and fellow employees.
  • Assist with material handling, blending, storage, transport, and delivery of products.
  • Work across all Energy departments (Petroleum, LP, Energy Service) as needed.
  • Assist with fuel and LP delivery.
  • Assist with energy service work as required.
  • Repair, rebuild, and maintain equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
  • Follow all company safety and compliance policies, including OSHA, DOT, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
