Raytheon is seeking a candidate to be tasked with supply controller responsibilities within Surveillance Supply Planning. As an Operations Supply Analyst within Operations Supply Controller, you’ll drive innovation and optimization to enable business growth and strategic contributions across a broad, cross-functional landscape. This role will participate in resource and factory material planning, working closely with the factory and operations teams, as well as be responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory. In this position, the ownership & use of metrics will be key to maintaining MRP health and drive the expected level of performance to support contractual obligations. This is a factory facing role with a requirement to be onsite 5 days/week.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Production Control
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 software (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams)
  • Experience with Special program access applications, Kinaxis, CMES or similar software programs or other Material Requirements Planning Tools

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with complex systems and processes
  • Previous experience transforming complex information and data into clear, concise, and visually engaging slides.
  • Experience with material inventory audits and movement of material within the factory and building.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
  • Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Working daily to confirm material supply availability
  • Preparing purchase requests for components based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements
  • Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build
  • Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary
  • Conducting quarterly physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system
  • Expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
  • Must be able to lift per RTX EHS Lifting Guidelines.
  • Performing movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining stacked LOB and extracting impact data for weekly analysis in support of IPT/PPR meetings with programs
  • Attend and support weekly program and factory meetings
