About The Position

Based in our SOUTHAVEN, MS location, you will be directly responsible for managing the work in the Operations for the Memphis Distribution Center. You must be able to communicate effectively with leadership, hourly workforce, vendors, and internal as well as external customers. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 5+ years’ experience working in a high-volume warehouse receiving environment. Provide support, direction, and leadership through positive interactions with all personnel during daily operations. Optimize output by ensuring employees understand their duties and have the support they need to do the tasks assigned. Mentor and develop team members to align with their career goals. Maintain good employee relations through honest feedback and coaching. Seek continuous improvement for department, team, and self, with measurable goals. Know how to build the team up through the challenges and celebrate the wins! Who You Are: You have excellent oral and written communication skills. For This Role, You Will Need: Associate Degree in business management, supply chain, logistics, or related field and 5 years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations. A minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams, especially over a receiving team. The ability to use ERP, WMS, and/or Microsoft Office applications to review and analyze data. Strong organizational and human relations skills. This position is hands-on and requires the ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds. Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
