About The Position

Aimé Leon Dore is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Los Angeles, reporting directly to the Store Manager at our LA Flagship. This position will be responsible for supporting our day-to-day business operations of inventory management, retail operations, logistics, and sales operations. The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and ability to balance between multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 + year’s experience in retail, and/or operations
  • Prior experience working on a growing team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Must be anticipatory and take initiative on task management across departments
  • Ability to take ownership on all duties and responsibilities
  • Must be organized an illustrate keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Work closely with Planning team on execution of retail replenishments and send backs, along with ensuring inventory accuracy across LA Flagship and LA Cafe
  • Material management across all retail teams for selling materials and cafe disposables which includes ordering and flagging low materials to proper cross functional departments.
  • Examine all inventory levels throughout the store to ensure product quantity levels are maintained.
  • Owns inventory adjustments / accuracy across LA Retail and LA Cafe
  • Operations : Support all retail team requests, prepare teams for launches, perform inventory cycle counts, repairs, and maintain communication between HQ and retail.
  • Ensure proper understanding and execution of all Aimé Leon Dore policies and procedures.
  • Work with the Store Manager to ensure proper staffing for the day to day BOH operations and planning ahead for operational preparation.
  • Implement and maintain efficient opening and closing procedures
  • Support any store maintenance and seasonal retail changes.
  • Consistently reach and aim to exceed all KPIs
  • Warehouse Communication / Logistics: Maintain communications with our west coast warehouse and ensure replenishments are packed and shipped within SLA.
  • Set up pick up and delivery for shipments as necessary.
  • Receive delivery as necessary.
  • Retail Training / Continuous Improvement Exhibit a high degree of professional maturity and lead by example
  • Create team spirit and cultivate an environment where team members are recognized as valued contributors to the overall success of the flagship
  • Create SOP documents for (receiving, cycle counts etc)
  • Onboard and train new and existing team members on SOPs, best practices and new practices.
  • Provide direction to back of house teams on day-to-day operations, bin organization, and planning of inbound products.
  • Establish clear expectations for BOH team members ensuring all team members are anticipatory to BOH needs, actioning on responsibilities, and effectively communicating.
