We are looking for a self-motivated, professional, and organized individual who enjoys detailed work and a fast-paced environment. As an Operations Supervisor, the focus will be to improve the Safety, Quality, and Productivity processes. Ensure that all packaging lines operate efficiently and continually improve using Lean tools and techniques. The Operations Supervisor will also serve as a back-up for other supervisors in operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, can substitute with experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in TPM environment
  • Capability to communicate effectively with various skill levels and personality types to successfully accomplish your expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and supporting front-line associate in Safety, Quality, and Productivity initiatives.
  • Understanding all aspects of the operation including packaging, warehouse, batching, and railcar management.
  • Helping drive improvements on the High-Speed Bottle Line to achieve budgeted bottle filling rate.
  • Implementing Lean Manufacturing tools and train operators on their use (e.g., AM, 5S, Visual Controls)
  • Creating standard work documents and implementing them in operations.
  • Helping create a visual factory.
  • Creating a positive work environment, fostering open communication and dialogue with cross functional teams (safety, maintenance, engineering, quality)
  • Supporting the corporate CI program and completing projects throughout the year.
  • Leading problem-solving activities.
  • Leading cultural change related to implementing Lean tools and techniques in operations.
  • Managing day to day operations in the absence of a shift supervisor.
