Requirements

  • To qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with demonstrated accountability for safety, quality, and performance outcomes.
  • 5 or more years of manufacturing experience, including exposure to operations, production flow, or process improvement.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable, including providing performance feedback and participating in corrective action processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize shifting demands and collaborate across functional teams.
  • Proficiency in standard business systems and tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to track and communicate operational information.
  • Ability and willingness to support 24/7 operations, including schedule flexibility as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to cell teams through regular shop-floor presence, team meetings, and clear communication to ensure production requirements, schedule commitments, and process improvements are achieved.
  • Uphold and reinforce company performance, safety, quality, and behavioral standards, while holding Team Leaders and Operators accountable through timely feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Drive a strong safety and quality culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, operating standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements, and by actively participating in safety, quality, lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Training, Quality, Engineering, and other stakeholders to align priorities, resolve issues, and support business needs in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Partner with the training team to ensure employees are properly trained, cross-trained, and developed to support operational flexibility, career growth, and succession planning.
  • Plan and manage work schedules, staffing levels, and overtime to balance operational priorities, customer demands, and cost efficiency while supporting 24/7 operations as required.
