About The Position

Hallmark Aviation Services is seeking a Supervisor for our Operations Department in Los Angeles, CA (LAX).

Requirements

  • At least 18yrs old, with a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • English proficient
  • Basic Math Skills: Adding, Subtracting, Division, and Multiplying
  • Computer Literate
  • Able to stand, bend, squat, reach, grasp and pick up items; occasional lifting up to 70lbs
  • Reading & comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies & procedures
  • Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays and able to provide Manager coverage on account
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Completion of Introductory Employment Period with HAS (90 days)
  • Strong leadership, but stronger team player
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and multitasking skills
  • Thorough knowledge of LAX airport operations: Arrivals, Departures, Ticket counter
  • Basic knowledge of airline reservations
  • Computer, typing and ticketing experience
  • Able to operate independently and work varied hours (must be flexible)
  • Proficient knowledge of airline product systems and procedures
  • Experienced leadership abilities
  • Organized & strong planning skills
  • Excellent and effective communication and telephone skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Must possess a state driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 18 months Airline Experience Preferred
  • Ramp & Bagroom experience preferred
  • Knowledge of airline computer systems preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Weight & Balance and Crew Administration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Able to solve basic problems within the operation: DBC, delays, cancellations, etc.
  • May include administrative functions
