About The Position

The role of Supervisor, Warehouse Operations is responsible for daily leadership, direction and coordination of warehouse operations and staff. Reporting directly to the Stratus Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the daily activities in the warehouse to include; receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, as well as other operations activities to ensure the proper flow of materials and inventory control to support the Worthington and AirCo Sales Teams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Inventory management experience in an aviation-related field required.
• Experience in logistics including domestic and international shipping.
• Experience in leading warehouse teams, strong leadership skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with commercial aviation components and industry practices.
• Computer proficiency with ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to lead and direct warehouse staff to warehouse operations manage projects and parts programs efficiently.
• Knowledge and understanding of warehouse management concepts and logistics with a focus on planning and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Quantum Inventory management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day material operations to maximize efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organizations supply chain.
• Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory to ensure a cost-effective flow of activities.
• Lead, direct, and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.
• Optimize warehouse functions.
• Actively involved in data capturing and audit programs, physical inventory, cycle counting, delivery and non-conforming material flow processes.
