About The Position

At WM, the Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers and assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • No prior work experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located

Responsibilities

  • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues
  • Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis
  • Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operational issues
  • Maintains the office and is the proxy for KRONOS for all daily updates for drivers and helpers
  • Is responsible for using Microsoft Suite and additional software tools to manage a variety of daily tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor
  • Assisting with the processing of payments and other financial tasks as necessary
  • Assisting in the implementation of operational projects as needed
  • Communicating with customers about service issues as needed
  • Communicating with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed
