In this entry level role, you will be supporting the administration of energy efficiency rebate programs. This position is responsible for qualifying applicant income, processing rebate applications, and ensuring accurate project documentation and closeout. The role focuses on data validation, standardization, and discrepancy identification to support operational efficiency and program compliance. Working closely with analytics and program teams, the Operations Specialist uses strong analytical skills and attention to detail to manage large datasets and support reporting and workflow tracking. While primarily internal‑facing, this role also involves regular communication with clients, customers, contractors, and community‑based organizations to support eligibility determination and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in operations or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar tools.
  • Must currently reside in Oregon.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Support analytics and program teams with project coordination, application review, and documentation.
  • Track and analyze program data to support reporting, metrics, and workflow management.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with CLEAResult and client systems.
  • Learn and apply eligibility requirements across multiple statewide energy rebate programs.
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, and community partners regarding program eligibility and next steps.
  • Assist with issue resolution and escalate complex or high‑risk cases as needed.
  • Contribute to team meetings, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Support client engagements through meeting preparation, updates, and follow‑up.
