About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our elite Finance department! As a member of the Finance Department at Tax Relief Helpers, you will play a key role in contributing to the effective management of financial operations, including the funding lifecycle for our clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with computer systems and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, CRM systems (IRS Logics preferred, or similar systems)
  • Professional Demeanor: Bringing a positive, proactive, and collaborative professional attitude to work on a daily basis.
  • Customer Service: A customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to clients.

  • Licensed Enrolled Agents with active status and a thorough understanding of tax law.
  • Experienced in tax resolution, with a proven track record of successfully managing the funding lifecycle for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Loan Application Intake & Processing
  • Review client applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Collect and verify required financial documents
  • Coordinate with clients to clarify application details and timelines
  • Familiarity and adaptability to different financial systems
  • Credit Evaluation
  • Perform soft credit pulls to assess client eligibility
  • Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality standards consistent with company standards and management expectations.
  • Lender Coordination & Funding Tracking
  • Track the status’ of all applications submitted to lending partners
  • Confirm disbursement of funds and update internal systems as required
  • Follow up with lenders on delayed or incomplete funding while providing regular documentation highlighting each interaction attempt.
  • Invoicing & Payment Processing
  • Maintain accurate transaction records by collaborating with the Finance Manager and sales team to ensure proper client record and internal ledger postings.
  • Client & Department Support
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Service)
  • Escalate issues such as declined funding, incorrect disbursements, delayed payments, or payment defaults
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and funding systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Competence in utilizing CRM systems and standard computer applications.
