Job Description: This job is responsible for managing medium to large projects for an operations department or Line of Business. Key responsibilities include determining appropriate test methods, coordinating execution across stakeholders and test groups, managing project scope, planning, and organizing, directing the execution of test plans and scripts, and working closely with management on project impact and direction. Job expectations include acting as the first point of contact for end-to-end project status, project health, mitigation, and timely escalation to leadership and stakeholders. This role is responsible for managing medium to large operational projects supporting Specialized Servicing and Fulfillment Operations. The Operational Project Manager manages projects end‑to-end, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, and serves as the primary point of contact for overall project status, health, communications, and escalation. The role coordinates execution across multiple stakeholders, functional partners, and testing groups in a matrixed environment to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables. The Operational Project Manager develops and maintains detailed project plans that identify milestones, dependencies, and the critical path, while organizing and coordinating project work to ensure timely completion of deliverables. The role works closely with stakeholders to assess project impacts, manage risks and issues, and escalate concerns as needed to support effective decision‑making and risk mitigation. The project manager supports the execution of change across people, process, and technology initiatives related to service, support, or product fulfillment, applying enterprise change management standards and established project guidelines.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall change frameworks, with a strong emphasis on Agile delivery and JIRA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project) and SharePoint.
  • 2–3 years of experience supporting end‑to-end change for medium to large projects; operational experience preferred.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in a technology‑driven environment.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving ability with a solid understanding of business requirements to identify process or system improvement opportunities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence partners across Technology, Sales, and Operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple high‑priority initiatives concurrently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • High attention to detail, particularly related to business process documentation and execution.
  • Proven ability to lead projects end‑to-end and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of DCRS technology
  • Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence technology

Responsibilities

  • Determines testing methods needed for assigned projects, educates resources, partners with all testing teams engaged, and provides reporting for the overall testing throughout the testing process
  • Manages and directs project parameters, costs, project testing execution, and resource allocation
  • Partners with operations management on creating project impact and providing direction and guidance to internal teams
  • Coordinates development of key project deliverables in partnership with various key internal and external business partners
  • Manages and leads the execution of multiple and often competing priorities to meet deadlines and adhere with policies and procedures
  • Establishes project status routines and tracks critical path deadlines and overall business measures for success
  • Leads defect resolution and roadblock clearing efforts to enable successful completion of testing
  • Determine and apply appropriate change methods for assigned projects.
  • Educate resources, partner with impacted teams, and provide reporting on scope, schedule, and costs throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Partner with operations management to assess project impacts and provide direction and guidance to internal teams.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of key project deliverables in collaboration with internal and external business partners.
  • Manage and execute multiple, competing priorities to meet deadlines while ensuring adherence to enterprise policies and procedures.
  • Establish project status routines, track critical path milestones, and monitor overall business success metrics.
  • Lead testing support efforts, including defect resolution and removal of roadblocks to enable successful completion.
  • Manage change‑related risk by proactively identifying issues, driving solutions, and escalating as needed to ensure transparency with stakeholders.
  • Track post‑deployment success metrics and support sustainability through procedure updates, readiness activities, and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Standards and all applicable corporate requirements.
