About The Position

The Operations & Project Management Intern will support the Productivity Initiative, a cross-functional effort focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and strengthening execution discipline across manufacturing and packaging operations. This role provides hands-on experience in project management, manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and continuous improvement. The intern will work closely with Operations, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to support planning, tracking, and execution of key initiatives. This position will actively support project coordination, operational analysis, process improvement efforts, and structured execution within a defined initiative framework.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred, with relevant coursework in operations, supply chain, process improvement, or project management.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management Support Assist in building and maintaining project plans, timelines, and trackers for Productivity Initiative workstreams
  • Support status updates, documentation, and tracking of milestones and deliverables
  • Track risks, dependencies, and action items and support resolution efforts
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and follow-through
  • Support preparation of materials for leadership reviews and initiative updates
  • Operations & Productivity Support Partner with manufacturing and packaging teams to identify efficiency opportunities
  • Support analysis of workflows, throughput, and operational performance
  • Assist in implementing process improvements on the operations floor
  • Track productivity metrics, cost savings initiatives, and operational KPIs
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement Collect and analyze data to support business cases and decision-making
  • Document current-state and future-state processes
  • Support development of standard work and process documentation
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • Cross-Functional Coordination Support collaboration across Operations, Procurement, and other functional teams
  • Assist in aligning initiatives with broader Productivity Initiative goals
  • Help ensure clear communication of priorities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Reporting & Dashboard Management Maintain project trackers and dashboards
  • Support weekly status updates and reporting
  • Assist in preparing executive summary presentations
  • Track progress against initiative goals and KPIs
