About The Position

The BAE Systems TacAir Product Line is looking for an individual to fill a Sustainment Operations Program Manager role at the Merrimack24 Facility. The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to lead the Operations Teams supporting the DEWS Saudi, DEWS Qatar, and B1B Sustainment Programs. Though the candidate will sit primarily in MER24, travel to and support at the Spit Brook (NHQ) and Canal St (NCA) facilities is also required. Essential functions of this role are: High Motivation, with the ability to manage and complete diverse and urgent tasks Strong personal skills, with the ability to lead and work with diverse teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • The ideal candidate will have project management skills, manufacturing, and/or supply chain skills as well as knowledge of the Operations functions.
  • Must have ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate exceptional organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence diverse teams.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Secret clearance.
  • Understanding of Military Specifications and BAE Systems policies and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the DEWS Saudi, DEWS Qatar, and B1B Sustainment Programs.
  • Interface between Program and Factory teams to status WIP and overcome hurdles.
  • Cost Account Manager - CAM for the Operations labor content on all three programs.
  • Liaison between Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Office.
  • Oversee planning, tech ops, procurement, and subcontracts for these Sustainment programs.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Sustainment strategy & processes for DEWS and B1B Sustainment, such as creating or updating Program Documentation (Field Return Plan, Transition plans, etc.)
  • Ensure all hardware meets contractual requirements.
  • Ensure manufacturing execution is aligned with Program and Customer requirements.
  • Work with TacAir Sustainment Material OPM to ensure material availability in support of repairs.
  • Oversee Affordability and Continuous Improvement activities related to the repair of field returns.
  • Work with Factory Teams to keep Capacity Analysis and Staffing Plans updated.
  • Assist with Field Return/Sustainment Proposals and Evaluations when applicable.
