About The Position

The Distribution Workflow Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth flow of outbound orders from point of origin to the arrival at the final destination in a distribution center. This role requires a highly organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and has excellent communication skills to coordinate across various departments to maintain optimal operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge: Warehouse operations, safety and compliance, Order flow through SAP and Catalyst
  • Skills: Highly organized, effective communicator, ability to problem solve, Leadership and analytical skills
  • Abilities: Adaptable, good time management, team collaborations

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff and 3 years warehouse experience

Responsibilities

  • Workflow Coordination: Coordinate the movement of work within the distribution center, ensuring orders are waved, allocated, picked, processed and shipped efficiently
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize processes to improve the flow of work through the distribution center. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Team Members, Leads, Distribution center leadership, Continuous Improvement, Engineering and Transportation, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any flow-related issues.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to the flow of work, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and operational improvements to DOs and Warehouse Managers
  • Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with company policies and aim to improve KPIs for Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and/or People
