About The Position

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Planning - Team Lead to support our Western Canada Parts Distribution Centre (WCPDC) team. This is a 24-month contract opportunity and will report to the Manager of Parts Distribution Centre. The selected candidate will manage a team of four individuals while supporting inventory-related operations and facility enhancements. Requirements

  • University degree, College diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven methodology for problem solving
  • Experience coordinating & monitoring project processes, and developing & communicating guidelines and procedures
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to prioritize issues and risks to senior leaders
  • Ability to work harmoniously with individuals at all levels in and outside the organization
  • Experience initiating & improving work processes to increase safety, quality, and efficiencies
  • Solid digital proficiency with platforms such as SAP and MS Office Applications (Excel is required and Power BI is an asset)
