Job Description Directly and through staff, manages and coordinates the operational activities for assigned functional area(s)/region(s). Ensures quality service and effective operations support for all assigned internal and external customers. Leads high performance teams of both entry level and skilled professionals by setting goals, providing ongoing feedback, measuring progress while recognizing success and building accountability with employees. Oversees adherence to corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations within area of responsibility. Participates in the review and improvement of operational systems and procedures relevant to assigned units. Manage projects and events for GFS clients and their intermediary partners, as well as daily processing activity including mutual fund trading, transaction processing, call servicing and commissions. Ensure department and GFS service standards are achieved and maintained. Resolve financial intermediary questions/problems and escalate to management as appropriate. Responsible for employee development, mentoring and coaching. Support Transfer Agent's ISO 9001 culture through adherence of core values, process improvement suggestions, monitoring and tracking of Key Performance Indicators, and continuous and timely review of department documentation. Participate in internal and external audits. In addition, may be required to assist with presentations for current and prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight or more years of relevant experience

  • Strong working knowledge of NSCC services and processing
  • Thorough knowledge of operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services supported by the assigned area(s)
  • Understanding of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable products, programs, financial analysis and related documentation as applicable
