About The Position

The primary focus of the Operations Manager position is to perform all duties associated with maintaining a safe and productive work environment for the recycling operation and involves regular communication with all Management, Administration, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Transportation staff. An Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an office, ensuring it functions efficiently and effectively. They manage administrative tasks, coordinate with various departments, and handle a range of duties to keep the office running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or 5 plus years of experience in a plant or general management role.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Relations: Managing contracts, negotiating prices, and handling vendor inquiries.
  • Communication: Serving as a point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Coordination: Collaborating with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Budget Management: Tracking expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Employee Support: Addressing employee inquiries, providing assistance, and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Event Planning: Organizing company events, team-building activities, and other gatherings.
  • Onboarding: Supporting new employees with IT setup, introductions, and other onboarding procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
