We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help lead our growing team and ensure our day-to-day operations continue to reflect the high standards our customers expect. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in the home services industry (HVAC, electrical, or related trades) who can balance people leadership, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the home services industry (HVAC, electrical, generators, or similar).
  • Proven experience managing operations, teams, and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of field service operations and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using operational software and data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on, day-to-day leadership.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across service, installation, and support teams to ensure efficiency, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Partner with ownership and leadership to develop, manage, and monitor budgets, including operational and financial performance.
  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and support department managers and team members, fostering accountability and professional development.
  • Collaborate on staffing plans, scheduling, and resource allocation to support business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, licensing requirements, and company policies.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management efforts across departments.
  • Promote a positive, team-first culture rooted in trust, service, and long-term relationships.
