About The Position

Med One Group, a leader for over 25 years in the medical equipment finance industry, is seeking a self-motivated Operations Manager for our distribution warehouse in Sacramento, CA. This is a full-time, salary-based position with a starting base salary of $75,000 or higher, depending on experience. This person will oversee warehouse operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, while also working closely with their sales counterpart. The Operations Manager will provide leadership, direction, and development to a team of customer service professionals responsible for medical equipment processing, delivery coordination, scheduling, and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in warehouse management or a supervisor role.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams, work independently, and take initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in PC-based applications with excellent organizational skills and a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the medical equipment rental industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build, strengthen, and leverage customer relationships in close partnership with the Sales team.
  • Oversee site organization, including warehouse and office layout, cleanliness, supply inventory, coordination with home office IT, management of business licenses, and liaison with local property management.
  • Establish clear, measurable goals aligned with organizational objectives, ensuring strong alignment between people, processes, and strategy to drive consistent execution.
  • Set high performance standards, hold teams accountable, and ensure full compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to deliver customer-focused, win-win solutions.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating a positive, committed approach to the business, colleagues, cross-functional partners, direct reports, and clients.
  • Apply business and financial acumen to support contract management and maintain account profitability, including oversight of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, products, and services while embracing innovation, change, and adaptability.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as business needs require.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours calls as needed to support staff and operations.
