About The Position

Lead multiple terminals and drive performance across operations. We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate terminal activities across assigned locations. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, managing costs, developing field leadership, and ensuring consistent execution across the network. This is a high-impact role for someone who can lead from the front, manage multiple priorities, and turn strategy into results. What you’ll do Oversee operations across multiple terminals to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance Manage costs including non-revenue pay, contracts, and managed services Lead initiatives to improve operations through standardization of processes, people, and technology Support network optimization efforts across assigned locations Partner with Sales to support business needs and customer onboarding Coach and develop Driver Managers across assigned terminals Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities Lead incident investigations and ensure timely root cause resolution Partner with Regional leadership to ensure proper staffing and operational support Build strong internal partnerships to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Support strategies that drive growth across assigned markets What we’re looking for College degree required 10+ years of experience in the transportation industry Strong leadership experience across multiple locations or teams Ability to manage performance, control costs, and improve operational efficiency Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred qualifications Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership Driven to move priorities forward and achieve results Competitive mindset with a focus on performance Leadership responsibility This role directly supervises Driver Managers across assigned locations. Work environment and physical requirements This position operates primarily in an indoor office environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions based on span of control. The role involves mostly sitting, some walking, and the ability to speak, hear, and see clearly for the responsibilities of the job. Requirements

  • College degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in the transportation industry
  • Strong leadership experience across multiple locations or teams
  • Ability to manage performance, control costs, and improve operational efficiency
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
