About The Position

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Achieves the budgeted gross margin as outlined by senior leadership in all assigned areas. Ensures lead opportunities are maximized and customers are effectively retained and satisfied. Oversees and provides feedback on labor cost versus revenue. Equate equipment and parts usage to achieve budgeted gross margin percentage. Review invoices/paperwork submitted by field employees daily to ensure all necessary information is recorded neatly and accurately. Meet with field management and employees to ensure there is clear understanding of performance expectations necessary to achieve the financial goals of the business. Provides ongoing supervision, training, coaching and feedback to improve performance and meet objectives of all assigned areas to ensure optimal performance. Provides leadership to designated teams through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication based on direction from senior management. Addresses issues of concern related to performance providing constructive and ongoing feedback and consequences if performance remains below standards. Ensures that all direct reports comply with required safety standards and ensure that team members are safety conscious at all times. Provides regular performance updates and recommendation to senior management. Ensures that all administrative guidelines are followed for reporting and paperwork. Responsible for effective hiring of all new team members. Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness. Responsible for recommending process/operational improvement. Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a field supervisor in HVAC Industry, residential new construction or related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage projects and resources.
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree.
  • HVAC trade school certification.
  • EPA certification.
