Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in US resin distribution or a similar supply chain role
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with vendors and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Leading a logistics team to achieve productivity and set goals

Responsibilities

  • Track Tricon’s allocations and commitments with third-party vendors (warehouses/truckers)
  • Monitor daily logistics exposure and performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Analyze warehouse and trucking allocations for competitiveness and operational efficiency
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize Tricon’s logistics operations
  • Negotiates third party logistics contracts and agreements
  • Coordinate with customers service team to ensure smooth and effective product movement
  • Support commercial team with spot business quotes and new logistics projects (warehouse, trucking, rail)
  • Manage claims related to third-party vendors, ensuring timely resolution
  • Cross-check third-party invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payment processing
  • Maintains relationships with current and future vendors
  • Review inventory levels regularly and provide strategic feedback to management
  • Oversee supplies inventory and coordinate ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in supply chain operations
  • Supervise, coach and lead logistics team to ensure productivity and engagement
  • Provide support training and guidance
  • Enforce company standards, policies, and procedures
