About The Position

Overview: Responsible for ensuring the equipment, parts, and services provided by the company are at the highest level of performance, quality, and availability. This will be achieved through the successful leadership, planning, implementation, and tracking of robust Manufacturing, Purchasing and Quality systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous experience in production management, supply chain management, operations management, or similar role required. Must have minimum 1 year of previous supervisory experience.
  • Excellent leadership & interpersonal communication skills to lead direct and indirect personnel & cross-functional teams. Proven experience in training, coaching, and developing personnel.
  • Familiar with standards such as The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Compliance Regulations, European Conformity Regulations (CE), etc.
  • Ability to embrace and implement company philosophy into their work.
  • High proficiency in the use of Excel, SharePoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a capital equipment manufacturing organization.
  • Master’s degree in business or related area preferred.
  • Prior experience in a quality, purchasing or operations role at an ITW division a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit visible leadership in the pursuit of continuous improvement in all aspects of performance related to Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain & Logistics:
  • - Effectively carry out all managerial responsibilities including requirements pertaining to performance management, employee development, and interdepartmental cooperation
  • - Through business and customer critical KPI’s, demonstrate continuous improvement through the structural and operational excellence of your respective teams
  • - Ensure optimal communication and workflow with partnered functions
  • Lead the Manufacturing team toward effectively delivering to the production demands of Loma customers:
  • - Establish manufacturing resources and processes that effectively deliver to current and future market demand
  • - Ensure that manufacturing resources and processes leverage and support ITW best practices (e.g. in-lining, 80/20, Front-to-back)
  • - Identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities that directly impact and improve on fixed and variable costs
  • Collaborate with Global Quality personnel to ensure that relevant internal and external requirements are effectively tracked, maintained, and continually improved (e.g. ISO 9001):
  • - Identify, lead, and coordinate programs to optimise business processes
  • - Ensure all business-critical processes are documented and followed
  • - Ensure all relevant people are informed of the quality systems
  • - Responsible for organizational Health & Safety
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Chain and ITW Platform personnel to leverage best practices and purchasing power in support of manufacturing and other business initiatives:
  • - Responsible for the supply chain replenishment process of components and finished goods in accordance with targeted inventory levels and on-time shipment requirements
  • - Develop and manage the supply base with emphasis on cost reduction, quality improvement, technology development and on-time delivery
  • - Ensure all warehouse resources and activities meet the company’s objectives and targets
  • Other - Position requires up to 10-20% domestic and international overnight travel to suppliers facilities, ITW divisions, customers, & Loma Systems international facilities. Incumbent must be proactive, support external and internal customers, and quantitative results-driven projects. In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by their manager that are essentially related to their duties.
