About The Position

At CVS Health®, the Operations Manager is a key member of the Store Management team, contributing to the company's mission of helping people achieve better health by driving store execution and performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. This role supports the Store Manager in the overall leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store. The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining an engaged and productive store team through strong leadership and by setting an example. This position is distinct from the Store Manager in Training role and is not part of the Retail Management Development Program, meaning Operations Managers are not eligible for direct promotion to Store Manager. Candidates aspiring to become a Store Manager should apply for Store Manager in Training openings.

Requirements

  • Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills and computer skills
  • Advanced communication skills, leadership, supervision, and influencing skill
  • Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise
