As an Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize factory operations to achieve business objectives for cost, quality, and delivery. You’ll manage resources, improve processes, and develop talent while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics.
  • Proven success with Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of leadership.
  • Familiarity with inventory and supply chain management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Background in launching and sustaining new products in a factory setting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee workflow, production schedules, and timely delivery across assigned factories.
  • Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Lead Tier 2 and attend Tier 3 meetings
  • Facilitate Lean and Kaizen events to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
  • Budget and forecast variable cost centers; improve factory cost performance.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for capital equipment investments.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet industry standards.
  • Address quality issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and foster a safe work environment.
  • Mentor and develop production managers and their teams.
  • Promote engagement, retention, and a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Overall responsibility and oversight of the factory, direct management of assigned factories
