About The Position

Operations Manager-Florida Coastal Paving Florida Coastal Paving is a national parking lot construction and maintenance company serving commercial and industrial clients across the country. As a family-owned organization, we are committed to developing our people, strengthening leadership, and delivering consistent, high-quality results through disciplined processes and a strong company culture, Currently we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in asphalt paving and concrete construction. This role is responsible for leading projects from pre-construction planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who can effectively manage crews, subcontractors, and client relationships while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Requirements

• 3+ years of field leadership experience preferred
• Proven experience in construction management and/or asphalt paving or concrete construction
• Willingness and ability to travel to active job sites
• Strong professional communication skills (internal teams, clients, vendors)
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail
• All post offer pre hire candidates must submit to a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning through implementation
• Allocate labor, equipment, and materials for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel, subcontractors, and field operations
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors and vendors to secure fair and reasonable change order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship aligned with plans, specifications, and company expectations
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion
• Travel regularly to different job sites to support field operations and project execution
