About The Position

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of events, maintenance, and development projects of the complex. The Manager will work closely with senior leadership to successfully accomplish these responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance best practices
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must be willing to obtain CPR certifications
  • Well organized, efficient, flexible, and able to meet deadlines
  • Able to cope with many tasks at once and work to tight schedules

Responsibilities

  • Complete punch list items as assigned
  • Oversees the administration and high level of detail required in the organization of events
  • Assists with labor law compliance and adherence
  • Be on-site at events and take responsibility for the various aspects of managing personnel and production
  • Manage vendors and vendor work assignments as assigned
  • Ensure positive relations with client and vendors
  • Negotiate with vendors as assigned building good working relationship.
  • Ensures all guidelines are being met pertaining to health & safety, quality control, expense management, security, procedures, and facility maintenance
  • Assists sports and tournament manager with proper communication with the venues from contracts and dates to all onsite logistics
  • Assist with venue sales and business development
  • Represent venue for sales and community relations
  • Assists in developing and managing budgets, and exercises control in expense management and facility maintenance
  • Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation
  • Contributes to Facility Business Plan and execution
  • Oversees proper reporting of inventory
  • Serves as MOD as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
  • Respond to urgent repair needs and emergencies promptly
  • Ensure clubhouse, restrooms, locker rooms, and service areas are maintained to high standards
  • Ensure outdoor lighting, fencing, signage, and irrigation systems are maintained properly
  • All additional tasks assigned by management
