The Operations Team Member will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the need for the day, while providing participants, members and/or guests an excellent experience in every aspect.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the Sports/Recreation field
  • Experience with baseball or fastpitch softball
  • Strong eye for detail and safety compliance
  • Experience operating an electric scoreboard
  • Experience in coaching or mentoring athletes or children
  • Proven success in being a quality team member
  • Experience with baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse, basketball, pickleball and/or volleyball events
  • Experience and success in customer service, leadership, and organization
  • Action-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Prep fields for play
  • Care for and maintain facility equipment, gear and supplies
  • Ensure correct equipment is available for games, and proper set up of all play areas
  • Ensure games start on time and rights holders are happy
  • Monitor all game play areas including turf and courts
  • Consistently communicate issues and relevant updates to your supervisor and applicable Team members
  • Execute and complete scheduled cleaning in various areas of the facility
  • Maintain and control trash in all areas of the park and buildings
  • Assist with the coordination of all programming and applicable events
  • Assist other departments as necessary as assigned
  • Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
  • Greet guests and provide answers and directions as needed
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff
  • Be knowledgeable about prices, leagues, and events
  • Report all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations to GM, AGM, or MOD
  • Know and enforce the facility's policies, procedures, and rules
  • Keep book during games
  • Accurately operate scoreboard
  • Additional tasks assigned by management
