What You'll Do: Manage and approve work orders, estimates, and invoices to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Drive productivity by coordinating tasks, dispatching jobs, and assisting technicians as needed. Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely and accurate parts availability. Lead by example-hire, train, and mentor employees to build a strong, motivated team. Maintain open communication with team members, leadership, and customers to align goals and expectations. Monitor and enhance department performance to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. Handle inquiries and communications with professionalism and urgency.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with 2+ years in heavy-duty tractor-trailer repair, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to inspire, develop, and lead a team in a dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of repair processes, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to address challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
