About The Position

The Operations Manager serves as the strategic link between the production facilities and the agricultural clients. Overseeing Customer Service, Scheduling, and Shipping, you will ensure that the unique seasonal demands of the Ag industry are met with precision. This role requires a leader who understands the lifecycle of agricultural machinery and can manage complex inventories, capital expenditure proposals, and high-stakes delivery schedules to support our growers and partners.

Requirements

• Ag-Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with agricultural machinery programs, seasonal supply chain fluctuations, and Ag-specific board grades or combinations.
• Operational Math: Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and volumes for precise cost-benefit analysis and shipping optimization.
• Technical Documentation: Proficiency in interpreting sales reports, safety rules, and operating instructions, and managing digital data entry for order tracking.
• Crisis Management: Proven ability to maintain emotional control and lead a team through "crunch time" or equipment failures during peak Ag seasons.
• Mentorship: A natural teacher capable of training staff on both technical Ag-product specs and administrative excellence.
• Communication: Able to speak effectively to diverse groups, from shop floor employees to corporate agricultural stakeholders.
• Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to agricultural machinery or Ag-supply operations.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred: Deep experience in the corrugated container industry (packaging for Ag products).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Ag-Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel/Word).
