About The Position

Prestigious multi-state full service creditors’ rights law firm is seeking an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and ready to assist and support all aspects of a busy practice. Our firm prides itself on a collaborative culture, high ethical standards, and commitment to compliance. The Operations Manager will oversee the firm’s daily operations, optimize workflow, and implement strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and performance. This role is part of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Partner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in the creditors’ rights legal representation and/or mortgage servicing field
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Exercise a high-degree of professionalism
  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence
  • Time-management skills
  • Advanced legal knowledge related to collections, and/or foreclosure areas of practice
  • Diligent, methodical, and results-oriented approach to operations management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years management or operational leadership in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong background in collections, legal compliance, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and improve administrative, HR, IT, and operations.
  • Streamline case management processes, ensuring legal compliance at every step.
  • Oversee running of Quality Control, Workload, and Productivity Reports as well as the required follow up and corrective action.
  • Maintain the highest quality of work-product while helping clients achieve their goals and ensure firm policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Oversee Departmental Coordination, work with Department managers to realize areas of inefficiency and provide a procedural and/or technological solution to identified issues.
  • Monitor progress and develop strategies to effectively and efficiently bring files to resolution
  • Develop and grow client relations
  • Exercise a high-degree of professionalism
  • Develop training, evaluation, and professional development programs to maximize staff potential.
