About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily product inventory and oversee operations to support Sales and Delivery. Ensuring safety and maximum internal and external customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s license
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or distribution environment
Ability to become Forklift certified

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field from a four-year college or university
5+ years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
3+ years of experience in the Distribution Industry
Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage property maintenance
Consistently take care of fleet maintenance issues
Management of personnel, including performance evaluation
Follow up and control daily absence and overtime
Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met
Take responsibility for security of the building and stock
Maintain housekeeping of offices, warehouse and surrounding area
Overseeing operations, delivery and warehouse
Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
Hold monthly meetings with subordinates to set and evaluate monthly, quarterly and yearly goals
Evaluate execution of safety standards
Ensure open communication about working environment
Communicate openly with other departments
Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
Report on team and individual performance
Develop and execute innovative operations strategies
Follows all requirements written in handbook
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Perform other duties as assigned
