About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and elevate our Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy operations at Ebenezer Pharmacy located in Arden Hills, MN. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations while driving culture, performance excellence, and continuous improvement across a large technician workforce. The ideal candidate excels at leading teams in complex healthcare settings, adapts to change, and combines operational discipline with emotional intelligence. You will directly influence patient care outcomes by building strong teams, optimizing workflows, and creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence. Requirements

  • Proven experience leading large operational teams (ideal experience managing multiple direct/indirectly reporting pharmacy technicians).
  • Demonstrated success using a transformational leadership style (coaching, motivating, developing teams through change) that develops talent and drives performance.
  • Strong operational background in pharmacy, healthcare, or similarly regulated, high-volume healthcare environments.
  • Ability to manage complex workflows, prioritize effectively, lead through ambiguity, and remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • B.S./B.A.
  • Prior experience in Long-Term Care, institutional, or high-volume pharmacy operations.
  • Experience leading large teams of 30-50+ people
  • Familiarity with LTC pharmacy workflow models
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a large team of pharmacy technicians through hands‑on, transformational leadership that drives accountability, engagement, and high performance while fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Oversee daily LTC pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflows, appropriate staffing, and high‑quality, timely medication fulfillment.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and quality assurance across LTC pharmacy operations, including audit readiness, continuous quality improvement, and strong controls over medication handling, documentation, and technician practices.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs (turnaround times, error rates, productivity, engagement metrics, etc.) and drive performance improvements through data-informed decision-making.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes for technician staff.
