About The Position

The Operations Manager position is a full-time management role located at TC Redondo Beach in Redondo Beach, CA. The role involves overseeing daily transit operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and service performance. Key responsibilities include supervising operations staff, supporting bus operators in the field, monitoring on-time performance and service reliability, and ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies, and contract requirements. The manager will also be responsible for responding to operational issues and customer concerns, and coordinating with maintenance to ensure vehicle availability. The position requires experience with Real-Time Bus Tracking and System Management, as well as CAD/AVL experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of transit or transportation operations experience
• Must have Real-Time Bus Tracking and System Management Experience
• CAD/AVL experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of transit operations, safety practices, and DOT regulations

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
