About The Position

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an Operations Manager role available in New Brighton, MN! The Operations Manager will oversee both local and cross-dock operations. This role requires a strategic leader with experience in high-volume distribution, change management, team development, and supporting high-performance teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating ambiguity and driving business initiatives that support our rapid growth and operational excellence. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/year.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years in warehouse operations, including 4+ years as a Warehouse Manager
Experience in high-velocity distribution centers and wholesale distribution.
Experience evaluating warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Skills in safety management, surveillance, and inventory control.
Experience with Six Sigma or Lean concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead with vision, strategically manage the warehouse, and develop a cross-functional team
Achieve productivity targets and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
Oversee receiving and warehousing operations, set up the layout, ensure efficient space utilization, control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data, and manage stock control.
Collaborate with Human Resources and Safety to initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Participate in annual budget planning and management.
