Oneida Technology Services (OTS) Group has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager - Sr. in Columbus, MS at the Columbus AFB. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all NOC and on-site engineering staff, schedules, and resources across multiple facilities and locations. Mains and oversees complex network infrastructures including LAN, WAN, firewalls, wireless technologies, and VPN services. Provides Tier 3-level technical expertise to diagnose and resolve sophisticated network issues. Utilizes advanced knowledge of network protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Cisco CLI configurations to support enterprise network performance and stability. Supports remote access platforms such as VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix, including troubleshooting and optimization. Conducts network monitoring, trend analysis, and root cause analysis to ensure operational continuity. Mains on-call schedules and coordinates with contingency staff to ensure surge or contingency support coverage. Ensures successful annual continuity exercises including COOP and disaster recovery (DR). Supports the Program Manager in scheduling, coordinating, and hosting required customer and stakeholder meetings. Supports Earned Value Management (EVM), provides input, and participates in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). Assists in routing, reviewing, and developing travel requests, purchase requests, and procurement documentation. Oversees procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment in accordance with U.S. Government requirements. Manages logistics support activities including warehousing, transporting, shipping, tracking, delivering, and staging equipment at installation sites. Assists with pre-implementation coordination and readiness activities. Manages all program and project activities, including WITO, surveys, logistics, safety, quality, installations, and O&M. Monitors progress to ensure all deadlines, quality standards, and cost objectives are met. Prepares, reviews, and provides input to deliverables and project documentation required to meet milestones and SLAs. Submits daily reports and other documentation as required by the program. Identifies risks, reports findings, and implements approved mitigation plans. Assists in the development of Transition-In and Transition-Out Plans. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes to drive short-term project growth and success. Manages and supervises staff across multiple functions and locations.
