This role ensures the assembly operation consistently delivers on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and working capital objectives. The Director of Operations leads and integrates Production, Planning/Master Scheduling, Materials & Logistics, and Operations Systems Analysis, translating business demand into executable plans and reliable daily execution. This is an onsite role based in Fort Collins, CO . In this role, a typical day will look like: Own plant production performance across all assembly lines including output, labor efficiency, throughput, and schedule attainment Lead integrated planning and master scheduling processes that translate demand into executable production plans and predictable delivery performance Oversee materials, logistics, warehousing, and shipping operations to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and efficient flow of goods Drive operational discipline through daily management systems, visual controls, leader standard work, and structured escalation processes Ensure operational data integrity and reporting across ERP/MRP systems, including BOM accuracy, routings, inventory transactions, and planning parameters Lead plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen safety, quality, delivery performance, cost efficiency, and working capital results Develop and lead managers across Production, Planning, Materials/Logistics, and Operations Systems to build a high-performing operations organization Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards, operational policies, and product quality systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership across production, planning/scheduling, and materials/logistics within an integrated operating system
  • Experience leading supervisors and managers while delivering measurable improvements in operational performance
  • Strong systems capability including ERP/MRP systems, operational reporting, and master data governance
