About The Position

Be the backbone of care and support healing from the inside out. Evolve Treatment Centers is hiring an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our two 6-bed residential programs for teens in Walnut Creek and Lafayette, CA . In this role, you’ll ensure our programs run smoothly, our staff feel supported, and our clients receive care in a safe, structured, and healing environment. About Evolve: We offer cutting-edge intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and residential treatment (RTC) programs for teens ages 12–17 dealing with mental health and substance use disorders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or operations management experience.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to lead with calm in high-stress situations.
  • Must be 21+, hold a valid CA driver’s license, and have reliable transportation.
  • Able to pass LiveScan background checks and child abuse clearances.
  • Willingness to work with COVID-positive clients and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Staff Management: Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding of clinical and non-clinical team members in collaboration with HR.
  • Directly supervise 25+ Residential Counselors, Overnight Counselors, and the facility Chef.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance reviews, including write-ups and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor schedules, ensure accurate timeclock use, and manage overtime.
  • Lead on-site onboarding tours and represent Evolve's culture and values.
  • Facility Operations & Compliance: Ensure both facilities meet accreditation standards (JCAHO, CARF, CCLD).
  • Maintain facility readiness: from food safety and fire safety checks to stocking emergency supplies.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, vendor coordination, and repairs in collaboration with the Director of Facility Operations.
  • Ensure the home is always “tour-ready” and organized.
  • Client Support: Assist with client admissions, discharges, and supervision during staffing shortages.
  • Support with off-site medical transportation and COVID-related supervision when needed.
  • Organize Saturday outings and weekly client treats.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident debriefs.
