In this temp-to-hire role, you will help ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of site equipment and electrical systems. You will perform many operational, mechanical, and electrical tasks, including SCADA interaction, equipment monitoring, analytical testing, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining power plant instrumentation up to 480 volts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as an OMT, Process Operator, or similar operations role.
  • Basic understanding— or—anaerobic digestion processes.
  • Experience working with voltages up to 480 volts.
  • Experience in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or gas processing.
  • Read and work from blueprints.
  • Experience with the use of hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations, maintenance, and overall site activities.
  • Monitor the anaerobic digestion process, reviewing equipment, gauges, charts, and system performance.
  • Record and analyze operational data to ensure the facility runs within specification.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify causes, and repair or replace components.
  • Maintain, repair, and adjust instrumentation and control equipment (recorders, flowmeters, monitoring systems).
  • Collect samples and conduct lab analyses for process control and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure the facility operates within regulatory and safety standards.
  • Monitor performance of electrical systems and circuits.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on major equipment and backup systems.
  • Maintain logs, records, and equipment documentation.
  • Calibrate instrumentation and monitoring devices.
  • Inspect, repair, install, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, and battery systems (up to 480 volts).
  • Troubleshoot DCS, PLC, and turbine control equipment.
